Well, we started out this week's picks in eager anticipation of the Giants' opening game against the Phillies, and it's no exaggeration to say that the pickin' started getting faster as game time approached...to the point that civic service in the form of removing cans, paper and cardboard miiiiight even have taken the backseat to hootin' and cheerin' for the local team.
This started off at what Ray & Dave expected might be a welcoming haven for true black & orange fans at Tommy's Joynt (after all, ray WAS wearing a full-on Giants uniform with eye black and all, while dave was wearing a blinding reflective orange jersey).
But 'twas not to be. And all for the better, as what's best done walking then turned into a pick-and-run, bagging trash all the way to Acme Burgerhaus up on Divisadero, where the crowd was much more welcoming and the team did not disappoint. There we had an unforgettable during- and post-game analysis conversation with Melissa, were later joined by good friend Jennie, and things were never the same. The broadcast took a few unexpected turns and suffice it to say that the on-the-air censors had to work overtime while good times were had.

In the end, we leave you with naught but a short reflective piece, which may just turn out to be the most concise, direct, to-the-point, hit-home take on what it is that this show's about in the first place.
Or, not. But either way, do give a listen to the talk and the tunes, Episode 7 right here, a special blast from the past performed by the Campbell Crew titled Public Space, and let us know what you think, join in for the next pick, join in the Community Clean Team if you're not in our neck of the woods, or, if you're further away, well, just don't throw that cigarette butt down in the street.
Keep it clean, folks, and... GOOOooooOOOOO GIANTS!!!!
